Counselor of Marriage & Family Therapy
“Your story matters. Therapy is a place to create, change, understand, and accept it. And the best part is, you don’t have to do it alone.”
Rachel Williams, MMFT
Goodlettsville Location & Virtual
Rachel is a Nashville native, growing up on a family farm not too far from the city. She completed her undergraduate and graduate work at Trevecca Nazarene University. She truly enjoys hearing people’s stories and has a deep appreciation for how family heritage influences personal identity. Rachel loves connecting with others through their stories and sitting with them as they create and understand their narrative.
As a counselor, Rachel strives to bring hope to her clients as they unpack life’s challenges and joys, relationships, spirituality, identity, and personal beliefs. While having excellent experience working with many different subject matters, she especially enjoys working with women's issues and career oriented individuals as they explore ways to balance all of life's demands while maintaining a strong sense of self. Rachel uses a directive, client-centered approach to identify strengths and growth areas that impact personal beliefs and relationship dynamics.
Rachel is married to her husband Blake and they have an energetic toddler that keeps them on their toes! When she isn't in the office she enjoys hiking, traveling to National Parks, baking, spoiling her dog Doug, and doing home improvement projects.
