Temp-Licensed Professional Counselor
Tara Sprouls, TEMP-LPC

“There is no normal life that is free of pain. It’s the very wrestling with our problems that can be the impetus for our growth.”
-- Fred Rogers
Goodlettsville Location
Life is messy. Parenting is a tough, full time job. And marriage isn’t any easier. Thankfully, Tara has over 15 years of experience in coaching both parents and their children on how to navigate their emotions, develop healthy habits, and communicate in ways that bring positive change. Her work as a school counselor has given her unique insight into the common relational pitfalls that people find themselves in. Her therapeutic style allows for open and honest conversation, identification of issues, and practical steps that produce healthier relationships.
Tara often examines issues such as grief, abandonment, depression, divorce care, trauma, and marriage issues. Her gentle approach and ability to actively listen and reflect provides an atmosphere in which clients can be vulnerable, and yet feel at ease.
Tara resides in Hendersonville with her husband, three children, and a wrinkly Basset Hound named Banjo. She enjoys leisurely drives in the country, Mexican food, family time, and renovating her home.
Tara is currently under the clinical supervision of Stephanie Finch, LPC-MHSP
Jinny Glasco, LMFT, serves as her site supervisor.
