Counselor of Marriage & Family Therapy
“Your story matters. Therapy is a place to create, change, understand, and accept it. And the best part is, you don’t have to do it alone.”
Trey Manor, MMFT
Goodlettsville Location & Virtual
Life can be hard sometimes. Life can be hard a lot of the time. When life gets difficult, we all tend to lean on someone for support. Relationships can be both either a buffer against hardships or the cause of our pain and heartache. Sometimes they can even be both. I firmly believe we are created for relationships, yet often times we’re unsure how to cultivate, grow, and sustain them. Connection can be what we desire most, but it can feel unreachable. A common misconception is that wholeness and intimacy can only be found in marriage. People are made for connection and community; our deepest desire is to be known and loved. This desire can be fulfilled in multiple forms of relationship. Accordingly, I believe that we are made to come together in robust relationships with those we love most.
You might have guessed this already, but I am highly passionate about working with couples. I have experience with and full confidence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). It was created to equip couples (dating, premarital, or married) to overcome and work together through any hardship and to blissfully celebrate any success. Marriage is wonderful, but humans were also made for other relationships too! I also enjoy working with teens and adults who are struggling with life transitions, relational issues, grief/loss, unwanted sexual behavior, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression.
I fully believe in authentic engagement. Hearing your story is an extremely high honor, and I recognize that entering into therapy and being vulnerable with a new person is no easy task. Your commitment to exploring and bettering yourself is one of the hardest and most valuable things you may do. It would be an absolute privilege to work with you. Please reach out via call or email to see if I would be a good match for you.
