Lana Jainarain, MMFT
Counselor of Marriage & Family Therapy
Gallatin Location & Virtual

Lana has lived in Nashville for 10 years and loves calling Tennessee home. In her free time she loves traveling, cooking with her husband, playing with her golden retriever puppy, and going on walks outside!
Before moving into the psychotherapy space, Lana studied Journalism & Public Relations because she loves writing and telling stories. She believes we all have stories that are worthy of being told and healed. There is bravery in sitting and sharing the things on our hearts with full honesty.
She loves to help others find healing by searching through their stories to find the places that need noticing. Through exploring patterns, themes, and coping mechanisms, she helps clients get curious about themselves.
Lana has experience working with premarital couples, dating couples, married couples, and individuals walking through life stress or transition seasons. Whether you have a specific goal in mind or simply want an unbiased perspective, Lana would be honored to sit with you and hear you.
Lana views the psychotherapy process from a holistic perspective — allowing care to each part of a person (spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional). Lana integrates inner child work, core emotions, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy depending on each client’s needs.
