"Discovering the truth about ourselves is a lifetime's work, but it's worth

the effort." - Fred Rogers

A Nashville native, Kristen lives locally with her husband and children and navigates the complex and demanding roles of mother, caregiver, co-parent, counselor and mentor with courage, poise, and humor. She is a skilled listener and enjoys the process of working with others to find creative solutions to life’s difficult problems. She is passionate about working with her clients through challenging life adjustments, anxiety, depression, and disordered eating.

Some of Kristen's greatest strengths include working with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), working with individuals through divorce and co-parenting, supporting blended and adult families through connection issues, support for challenges faced by gifted and high achieving teens, as well as empowering women to find their voice and reconnect with themselves.

Kristen excels at working with marginalized individuals and couples who don't know where to turn for safety. Her goal is to provide a safe and comfortable space for every person to connect and be heard, and most of all to begin to experience the connection we long for in our relationships during counseling. You take the powerful experiences of counseling with you into your daily life.

Kristen’s philosophy is that therapy can be brief and focused on specific issues or extended work to process complex situations. She believes in working together to decide what process works best for you in order to achieve your goals and discover solutions to the challenges of life and relationships.
