“We shall not cease from exploration

And the end of all our exploring

Will be to arrive where we started

And know the place for the first time.”

Katie is a Licensed Masters Social Worker, working under the supervision of Jinny Glasco, LCSW, and earned her Masters from Western Michigan University with a certification in Holistic Approaches to Enhance Living. She loves living in Tennessee with its 4 seasons each year, after escaping long winters on Lake Michigan.

Katie chose to pursue a career in counseling after her own rewarding experience with an encouraging, supportive therapist. She recognizes the privilege that it is to walk with client's through some of the most challenging storms they face, acting as a support, friend, counselor, and even coach at times to help them learn and grow from the adversity life brings their way.

Through her holistic approach to counseling, she addresses the WHOLE person in the work she does. Mind, Body, and Soul. The evidenced based practices she utilizes, allows her to to help you understand your past and it's current impacts in your day to day life. This process of recognizing your personal relationship to your behavior creates the opportunity to grow, heal, and move forward with a new sense of hope and purpose.

When Katie isn’t working with clients, you can find her at concerts, comedy shows, curled up reading a book, watching anything and everything on Bravo, or taking walks with her dog.
