EMDR & Trauma
Trauma is not something to walk through alone. We help you face trauma of the past, learn about yourself in the process, and provide coping skills for the present and future. Check out our counselors below and find the approach that most resonates with you.
Joanna Dixon, LMFT
In the 15+ years that Joanna has been in the helping profession, it has become her belief that "We all have our own little personal carry-on sized bag of trauma that goes with us wherever we go." In life, sometimes the trauma we have seen is vast, and other times it is a culmination of several small things that reinforce a negative belief that we carry about ourselves. That is the lie that she hopes to help her clients hold captive and reclaim through a place of empowerment and courage to heal.

Becky Kimbrough, MMFT
Your story does not stop at your worst moment.
Becky strives to hold space for clients to assess and address the forces from their past that manifest in the present which hold them back from living their best lives.
Becky views each client as a unique person with their own stories and paths, and is honored to walk alongside them in the journey to true healing and lasting peace.
"You are worth investing in, and my goal is to equip you with the tools – self-awareness, understanding, acceptance, compassion – for your continuing growth. You do not have to do this alone!"
Nicole Heckel, MMFT
Nicole has years of experience working with women and their families as they navigate their own life's traumas that have at times landed them in some painful places. Her gentle demeanor and depth of wisdom of complex trauma allows her the ability to sit with you while you begin peeling back the layers of the wounds that you are finally, ready to begin healing.
