Our counselors provide a safe, supportive environment where young clients can express themselves, develop coping skills, and navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and family changes. Our goal is to help children heal, thrive, and develop within a supportive and healthy family dynamic.
In cases of divorce or co-parenting, our primary focus is the child’s best interests. Therapy will not be weaponized against one parent, as this is harmful and may constitute abuse. Parental alienation—turning a child against one parent—disrupts their emotional and developmental needs and will not be tolerated.
We also encourage parents to maintain a parental role, offering guidance and stability rather than placing children in the middle of adult conflicts.
Please note that we do not specialize in court-related cases, and pre-licensed counselors cannot serve as expert witnesses in legal proceedings.
*Adolescents aged 16 and older have the legal right to consent to their own mental health treatment without parental consent or knowledge. For more information, refer to Tennessee Code § 33-8-202 here.
